We’ve moved to larger computer recycling premises in Glasgow.
Glasgow Computer Recycling is pleased to announce that we have recently moved to larger premises. These are our third premises and our systems, layout and processes are improving each time we move.
The increased space allows us to process a wider variety of recovered redundant IT equipment and WEEE which makes for increased efficiency, and improves the quality of our recyclable material. We can also process more equipment more quickly meaning customers now receive their reports and certificates quicker than ever.
All our existing and potential customers are welcome and indeed encouraged to visit our new site in Anniesland, north Glasgow, to see how we can help with any of your IT Asset Disposal requirements. We can show you our systems and processes and how they are used to ensure you meet your obligations under the WEEE Regulations and Data Protection Act.
We have kitted the new unit out specifically for efficient computer recycling, data erasure and data destruction and visitors can be shown:
- Our new hard disk drive shredder; this can shred HDDs, backup tapes and mobile phones down to 20mm or 6mm shred size for complete data destruction!
- The dedicated erasure station where we can efficiently erase large numbers of computers for safe and secure reuse
- The processing areas where waste is broken in to different waste streams for the most efficient recycling possible
- Storage areas where we build up suitable quantities of waste to make for efficient handling
We can discuss your computer recycling disposal requirements and see how our processes and equipment can help you safely, securely and efficiently dispose of your old computers and IT equipment.
Simply contact us and we can arrange a visit to our premises – there is plenty of easy parking and we’ll make sure there’s coffee available!
